According to a recent report from Sky Sports News, Tottenham Hotspur are hoping to pull off a late move for Southampton star Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg. The talks between the two parties are believed to be underway in a move that could completely alter the complexion of this January transfer window for the North London side.
Arsenal and Everton are also interested but at this moment in time, Spurs are the ones that have put forward a serious bid.
Hojbjerg has played a huge role in the revival of the Saints, and as captain, his loss would be a huge knock to their chances of finishing in the top half this season.
Ralph Hasenhuttl does not want to lose one of his star men which could push the potential deal back to the summer transfer window, but either way, nobody can accuse Tottenham of not pushing the pace to end the January window.
