Jean-Clair Todibo set an unwanted record on Sunday after being sent off just nine seconds into Nice s Ligue 1 clash with Angers.

The former Barcelona defender was given his marching orders after a clumsy tackle on Abdallah Sima when he was the last man, leading to a swift decision from the referee.

Broken leg shock for Premier League rising star Fofana

Leicester City s outstanding young French defender Wesley Fofana suffered a broken leg in the friendly win over Villarreal, he has revealed.

The former Saint-Etienne player featured in Wednesday evening s 3-2 victory over the Europa League champions.

He was forced out of the game after an hour, though, after challenging for the ball with opposition forward Nino.

Now Fofana, 20, faces missing the start of the Premier League season as he prepares for a spell on the sidelines.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp believes his team belong in this season s Champions League quarter-finals.

The Premier League giants sealed their spot in the last eight after completing a 5-0 aggregate win over Porto courtesy of a 0-0 draw in Tuesday s second leg at Anfield.

It marked the first time since 2008-09 that Liverpool have reached the Champions League quarter-finals.

Juventus are interested in signing Keylor Navas in the summer transfer window, according to . Naves is out of contract at Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the season and will leave the Ligue 1 champions, and the report has claimed that Italian giants Juventus are among the clubs who are keen on securing the services of the former Real Madrid star as a potential replacement for Wojciech Szczęsny.
